I spent $12 and saved $36 and my conscience. More on that later.
The easy fries are on sale for $1.25 each with a $3 Catalina when you buy 4 so final price $.50. The frozen juice mix was a manager special at the Albertson's on Winchester for $.50 each! Regularly $2.50!
Anyway, I separated my transactions so I could use the $3 Catalina's as I went along, and as I was taking my last receipt, I saw something folded up inside it. It was my $9 in Catalina's I had just spent. The cashier had handed them back to me out of habit I suppose even though they were already used. It only took a split second to make the decision to give them back, not because I am holy or righteous or anything, but because I have learned through my mistakes that the Lord keeps track and He isn't going to let me get away with deceit even if the store does. I thought I would just throw that out there...

Old Town Murrieta Plowboys
I used to shop at Plowboy's Farmer's Market every week for my produce, but I stopped going for some reason. I think I was under the impression they closed. Maybe they did, but today I rediscovered them and love them just as much as ever! Everything in the picture above (minus the children, of course) was $4.99! The large bag of bananas was clearanced for $1, regular price was still only $.55/lb though. I plan to freeze them for smoothies since today is clearly the last day of desirability. The 5 lb bag of potatoes was $.97!! The Watermelon was $1.50. The kids are holding (and eating) my splurge item...organic honey crisp apples. They were $1.69/lb but they are the best apples I have ever eaten. They really taste like honey! I've gotten honey crisp at the store before and was NOT impressed, but these are SO different!
They also had broccoli for $.89/lb regular price, pears for $.25/lb, plums for $.88/lb, and local bread and honey for various prices. They carry a few staple items as well (like milk and cup o' noodles...you know...must haves) and lots of mexican and asian specialty items. Anyway, if you happen to be at the corner of Kalmia and Washington sometime, check them out!

But Target and Walmart will price match the Big Lots ad! So you can get a game valued at $19.99 for only $1!!! Do it!

Rite Aid Deal starting Friday for Southern CA!
I read on Southern Cali Saver, that starting this Friday at Rite Aid there will be a mega deal on Kimberly Clark products! It includes Huggies, Kotex, Kleenex, Depend, Cottonelle, and Scott products. If you spend $30, you get $10 in Up Rewards, spend $50, get $20, and spend $70, get $40!!! You are probably thinking, yeah, but $70 is a lot of money...true, but subtract the $40 up reward, and you've got $30...then subtract all the coupons you are going to use, and you've got possibly $10-$20 for $70 worth of stuff!
I'm hoping they let you break up the transactions so You don't end up with a big $40 up reward you have to spend all at once. I don't see why they wouldn't, but we'll find out. So try to make your first transaction just over $30, then use your $10 on the next $20 purchase which will bring your total down and earn you another $10 that you can use on your next $20 and you should end up with a $20 up reward at the end to use in the next few weeks.
So here are some coupons I know are out there for some of the products, gather up as many as you can and get to $70!!
